Combining work and family was not a big issue at S+P Samson for a long time. Due to the age structure, there were not many young families who thought about family planning. That was roughly 20 years ago. Today, there are many colleagues who are faced with the task of combining family and career. 

Inflation is the topic of the day as everyone is suffering from rising costs. The cause of the development were the massive increases in energy prices. A trend that has been gradually reverting since the last quarter in 2022. What is the future from S+P Samson's point of view?

"Flag tags" have been established in steel labelling for years. They are used for heavy plates and coils, as the information would otherwise no longer be legible in the stack, if the labels do not protrude over the edge.

Adhesive bonding on a rough surface or a substrate that is difficult to adhere to, creates a classic conflict of objectives. More adhesive increases the adhesive strength, but it makes the label more difficult to handle due to adhesive leakage at the edges. A tightrope walk that is a knockout criterion ...

The topic of remote working has gained more supporters and acceptance since the Corona pandemic. However, there are also many who cannot or do not want to work remotely.

In general, cohesion and adhesion are opposing target values. If high temperatures are added during bonding, this applies even more. In this area, S+P Samson utilizes the permanent adhesive PA-130-201, which adheres very well from room temperature up to 360 °C.
