Who we are.
What we do.
What we stand for.
S+P Samson are the specialists for strong solutions for rough environments. The GRAPHIPLAST® plastic labels and tags, renowned worldwide, made the well-established company a market leader.
Today, there is a very diverse product range. In 2013, STRUCTOBOND® was launched, a new technology which offers permanent identification. In addition, the company also continuously expanded the RFID label segment. Customers from many different sectors worldwide now depend on the reliable and innovative identification systems supplied by S+P Samson GmbH.
“With the logistics optimizations we achieved using the new identification system, we can now generate important extra margins. We optimise distances in our huge loading area, minimise loading errors, reduce our complaint-related costs and benefit from the fact that our customers and distributors also recognise the high-quality identification as a quality feature of BSW."
STRUCTOBOND® labels in the endurance test in the wash: “After 300 cycles the barcode and the full text on the label were still clearly legible – we were already convinced at that point. In the meantime, the test tray and the label have survived 1,800 cycles, more than four times the number of cycles a tray would normally run through during its service life."
“Where we achieved just under 200 items in 3 shifts before, we are now processing just under 440 items in the Kasto system alone – in only 1 1/2 shifts. We are achieving an adherence to delivery time of over 99 percent. This means that with only a few exceptions we are delivering without any errors and overnight as we had confirmed to our customers."
“The most important issue is the clear allocation of the material across the entire warehouse and logistics chain. This means that everybody is happy - starting with business administrators, logistics personnel, users and all the way to our customers. We will only be working with these partners in the future."
“As a chemical company we are subject to very stringent labelling obligations. Some of our products are classified as hazardous goods for transport. With our previous labelling solutions we were beginning to reach our limits. However, we did not want an 80% solution, but a solution that integrates 100% into our logistics process." The new solution is much simpler than the previous one and therefore accelerates the entire process."
“We were surprised how much know-how can be in a label. It starts with the material and continues with printing systems, as well as an adhesive that can be removed without residue and yet provides good adhesion. What convinced me in my purchasing role was the fact that we were able to replace the many different types of identification with one standard label, enabling us to make stockholding more economical and more reliable."
“As the types of marking frequently did not last or, for instance, the text was washed away by the rain, there were delays in the warehouse or complaints from customers who were unable to allocate their parts. As a solution to this problem, Liebherr Colmar now use S+P-GRAPHIPLAST® labels.“
