ERP release change

Five years after the introduction of our ERP system 'proALPHA', S+P Samson is at a turning point.

The original aim was to map all company processes on a single platform. Around 60% of this has now been achieved and the initial challenges of the introduction have been overcome. But after the learning and stabilisation phase, a major release change is now required - a leap almost like a new implementation.

So why this step?

proALPHA has evolved over the years to meet the increasing demands of the digital economy. Cloud connectivity and improved integrations are just some of the new features that are essential in a modern ERP system. Leaving these out would be a long-term disadvantage in meeting the dynamic demands of the market.

However, implementation is challenging: extensive customisation and training will be required to continue using the system optimally. The effort is high, but indispensable - for an ERP system that grows with the business. The long-term benefits are clear: greater efficiency, data integration and an agile way of working.

The major release change is therefore not an easy step, but it is a decisive step in leading S+P Samson successfully into the future.
