Reliable labelling at temperatures between 400 °C and 450 °C
There are two main applications for tracking billets seamlessly in steelworks:
- in the strand after cutting, at approximately 900 °C
- on the cooling bed at around 400 °C
S+P has introduced GRAPHIPLAST® 7377.130, an eco-friendly addition to its high-temperature product range designed specifically for use on the cooling bed.
This high-performance label offers impressive features:
- heat resistance of up to 450°C
- easy labelling using standard thermal transfer ribbons
- smudge-proof barcodes and 2D codes, even at high temperatures
- robust design for harsh conditions in steelworks
Thanks to the durable materials and flexible design options, the labels can be seamlessly integrated into existing processes. Temperature-resistant inks ensure clear coding of steel grades and support efficient warehouse organisation.
