What keeps employees with a company in the long term? The answers to this question are as varied in everyday life as the colleagues in our teams themselves. At S+P Samson GmbH in Kissing, this philosophy is not just on paper but is put into practice every day. Whether a team member started their apprenticeship with us five years ago and now holds key responsibilities, or whether someone can look back on an impressive 35 years with the company: loyalty, commitment and the specialist and practical experience built up over decades are of inestimable value to us as a medium-sized company. It is a positive sign when work on the shop floor and in administration still brings genuine joy even after such a long time.

A strong sign: an average length of service of over 13 years

Even in times of rapid job mobility and a noticeable generational shift within companies, we prioritise continuity. Our average length of service currently stands at over 13 years. This figure is well above the national average and reflects the high level of employee loyalty across our entire workforce. For us, this confirms that a fair, stable working environment and flat hierarchies form the right basis for shared success.

Recognition in a fitting setting

To express our well-deserved appreciation and gratitude to this year’s long-serving staff members, we invited them to a joint lunch together with their respective department heads and the management team. In a relaxed setting away from the usual daily routine, we celebrated our long-standing collaboration and looked back on stories from the past decades.
