S+P Samson strengthens customer relationships in China

In today's competitive global B2B landscape, particularly in tough sectors such as heavy industry, success cannot be managed solely from behind a desk. For S+P Samson GmbH, China is and will remain a key strategic market. To expand our relationships with customers and partners there continuously and directly, we are visiting the region in person for the second time this year.

Our Head of Sales, Florian Bäumler, is currently spending two weeks travelling through the Shanghai metropolitan area and the surrounding industrial regions. This sales trip combines two important milestones: as well as providing strategic support to our existing customers, the focus this time is on a key new addition to our international sales team. Mr Bäumler is accompanying and supporting our new colleague, Yue Hu (Sales, China), during his first operational customer meetings in the market.

Face-to-face dialogue as the foundation of industrial collaboration

In an age of global connectivity and digital platforms, many coordination processes have accelerated. Digital meetings are an excellent tool for quick exchanges in between. Yet, in international industry, nothing can replace an on-site face-to-face meeting.

Genuine trust and resilient partnerships are forged when we examine production lines and logistical processes together. Only through direct dialogue and site visits can we understand our customers' specific technical requirements in detail. These direct conversations and a shared understanding of complex processes make bespoke solutions possible.

A successful start and setting the course for shared growth

The initial meetings and discussions with customers in the Shanghai region have proved extremely productive. Encouraged by this positive momentum, our sales team is looking forward to the intensive meetings, technical discussions and detailed factory visits that will fill the coming days.

Our aim for these two weeks is clear: to consolidate existing partnerships in the long term, build trust, and pave the way for stable joint growth in Asia. At the same time, we are using the trip to ensure optimal on-site onboarding, so that we can provide our Chinese customers with the S+P Samson quality of advice they have come to expect on a permanent basis.
