In industrial logistics, crane loading is a critical process where every second counts. A key bottleneck is the manual comparison of loading lists with the packages being transported. It is often difficult to clearly identify the load, especially when the crane operator and the load are far apart.

Until now, this process usually required two people - the crane operator and the ground staff. Communication is by radio or hand signals, which can be time-consuming and error-prone. Coordination under suspended loads is also a safety risk not to be underestimated.

The solution: Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)
The use of special RFID tags with an integrated transponder speeds up the loading process considerably. RFID coil and bundle labels from S+P offer a reading range of up to 10 metres - even in demanding metallic environments.

The decisive 'trick' lies in the distance to the metal: S+P's ID4track^® 'flag' labels guarantee perfect reading results in metallic environments. This means that load units can be detected contactlessly and without error - even from a great distance.
